About the role

Reporting to the UK General Manager, the E-commerce Manager is responsible for driving sales and contribution on UK domestic website through efficient onsite performance, animations and operations.
Primary functions will include providing detailed sales & KPI reporting, managing the launch of new products and removal of discontinued styles, visually merchandising the website, mitigating online content errors, reviewing client feedback, and optimizing cross-selling and internal search.  The ideal candidate embraces a fast-paced environment and has exceptional communication skills along with digital savvy and an understanding of luxury codes.

UK domestic website setup

  • Co build with central project management team UK platform
  • Adjust features depending upon Uk local specificities 
  • Deploy & adapt UK catalog assortment
  • Define the transport & logistics offer

Deliver Animation planning

  • Collaborate with Digital Production, Communication & Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of the 360 animation plan is delivered on the website
  • Visual & Content assets management Promotion setup
  • Trade Marketing Calendar sync

Merchandising Management

  • Provide day to day support by updating the
  • Update product assortment depending on stocks, best selling opportunities & animations
  • Visually merchandise relevant on-site search results
  • Prepare Cross-Selling opportunities
  • Remove discontinued products from the site
  • Ensure price changes are correctly displaying

E-commerce Operations

  • Work with zone merchandising and supply chain to manage and anticipate product fulfillment
  • Monitor picking operations & order preparation capacity
  • Anticipate potential product shortage
  • Plan wrapping, gift box and shipping supplies consumption
  • Support to supply chain for ecommerce activity
  • Liaise with customer care to troubleshout customer issues
  • Fraud management
  • Monitor customer care kpis and raise alert
  • Level 2 escalation for customer issue

Client journey optimization

  • Monitor UX / UI bottleneck to deliver a seamless client experience and provide valuable insight for front end design
  • Key contributor to catalog & content optimization based on analytics insights
  • Leverage SEO through content

Reporting & Analysis

  • Pull sales reporting and analyze performance by products and marketing activation to identify opportunities to maximize digital sales

Who we would love to meet

Digital savvy & tech friendly: understanding of digital client experience and proficiency with online content management systems
  • Sensibility for luxury & premium products, perfumes and or fashion, understanding of “luxury codes”
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail with ability to translate brand vision in an ecommerce sales driven approach
  • Analytical skills with experience with sales & digital performance metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills with ability to adapt rapidly and prioritize
  • Professional English

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in digital merchandising/animation and e-commerce, preferably in a luxury and or cosmetics environment
  • 2-3 years of use of SFCC is a strong plus
